Chef / Manager - Owners

Chef/Owner Derek Wilbur,
a native son of Mount Desert Island, begins his 28th year in the restaurant industry...over the years he has worked in Boston MA, Albuquerque & Santa Fe New Mexico, Calgary Alberta and Maine. 

While in the Southwest, he met his business partner and wife, Manager/Owner Sarah Oneil. After extended travels in the cafe & wine districts of Europe, the couple returned to Mount Desert Island to open Fiddlers' Green in May 1999.
